About Us

LEDERER Metall & Kunststoff GmbH has specialized in the production of plastic injection molding products for over 60 years. Customers of LEDERER Metall & Kunststoff GmbH come from all areas of industry. For example, confectionery, cosmetics and stationery manufacturers receive designer packaging. A large group of customers comes from the craft, decoration, display and promotion industries. In addition, the automotive industry in particular is one of our most loyal customers. With absolute fidelity to the original and under the strictest quality requirements, we manufacture vehicle and spare parts for classic automobiles exclusively for our customers. In close dialogue with its global customers, LEDERER Metall & Kunststoff GmbH produces “plastic in its most beautiful form”.

We offer the highest quality at the lowest prices

This is made possible above all by the lowest tool costs, which make a significant contribution to cost-effectiveness for small runs. The production and construction of the necessary tools and molds is carried out directly by the in-house design and development department of LEDERER Metall & Kunststoff GmbH.

Our vehicle parts are identical to the original

Both in material as well as in design and color. Parts are manufactured with the greatest precision with absolute fidelity to the original and under the strictest quality criteria. It is not for nothing that our customer base includes classic departments of well-known automobile manufacturers as well as brand clubs of automobile brands that no longer exist.

History

LEDERER Metall & Kunststoff GmbH –

since 1959

1959

LEDERER Metall & Kunststoff GmbH was founded in 1959 and has been specializing in the production of

Plastic injection molded products.

1960-1990

From the 1960s to the 1980s, the company primarily produced household goods and decorative items. After that, the company gradually switched to a production program in the area of hobby and craft items and designer packaging.

2000

Particularly in the last 20 years, due to specific market developments, there has been an increasing concentration on craft, packaging, decoration and display items. This has made the company the market leader in these areas.

2013

By selling the design packaging and hobby craft items division, the flexible and reliable family business was able to concentrate on the production of automotive and display items.

2014

The company is taken over by Marc Lederer. Concentration on the production of small series for the automotive industry.

2020

The takeover of the Szeidenleder company has added a new business area. Patented LED lighting profiles in fully cast plastic are now manufactured for concrete block manufacturers. The company name is changed from LEDERER-Automotive to LEDERER Metall&Kunststoff GmbH.

2022

Resumption of the design packaging and hobby craft items division. Acrylic balls are again manufactured in-house at Lederer. Expansion of the machine park.


2023

Expansion of the production, administration and storage buildings at Heilbronner Straße 17 in Göppingen.
